Arik Air, Nigeria’s largest domestic airline and the continent’s fastest growing carrier, has announced special Business Class fares that will make the competition on the Lagos and Abuja to London routes sit up and take notice whilst you lie back and sleep.

The Business Class fares have been introduced as a counter to other airline’s rising prices as we enter the peak summer period and the ever increasing costs of fuel. From Abuja to London, business passengers can now fly for as little as NG436,000 or $2,870 return on one of our New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a comfortable 16 Business Class seats, 2-2 configuration. Convenient departures and arrivals make the new pricing even more attractive.

On the Lagos to London, Heathrow route, fares are now NG525,000 or $3,456 for a return in the flagship A340-500 aircraft, complete with fully flat bed, an on-board massage system and bar area. The Business Class unit aboard the A340-500 is one of the most spacious of any airline and recently was “tried & tested” by the noted UK publication Business Traveller (http://www.businesstraveller.com/tried-and-tested/airlines/arik-air/arik-air-a340-500-business)

Kevin Steele, VP Commercial Arik Air, commented:
“At Arik Air we are constantly looking to offer our passengers the very best in value and comforts. This new Business Class fare does both that and it is our way of showing passengers that we are taking their needs in to consideration at a time when there are so many price hikes in the industry. We are still very competitive in Economy and offer attractive prices, but the business class traveler is finding it more difficult to justify the outlay so we are meeting the demands of the current climate which I think will go down well with our frequent and new business travelers.”
