To work on a 12 4x4 shift to provide 24hr AOG/IOR Spares support of the Arik fleet. The main role will be to provide Spares support for the entire fleet meaning there is a focal point for AOG/IOR ordering, chasing and delivery 24/7 reducing delays and saving costs. The role will liaise with Engineering to ensure parts are identified and ordered. Liaise with MCC Engineering to coordinate fleet planning. Coordinate the prompt supply of Spares to the Aircraft. When not dealing with AOG IOR tasks, they will carry out routine/ stock replacement, ordering, updating of Arik systems and planning for maintenance inputs.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

•    You will work with the MCC Engineers and the Arik Procurement logistics team

Has co-ordination of all Airworthiness related activities and ensuring that maintenance intervals are not exceeded.

• Relates with the AVP Engineering and Planning, Planning & Production Control Manager, AVP Maintenance, Maintenance Service Providers, MROs, Supply Chain etc.

Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance requirements are carried out on the line, or at any outstations, including line defect rectification, is carried out to the required standards.

• A team player whom works and relates with and the VP Technical, AVP Maintenance, Base Maintenance Manager, Engineers, Maintenance Service Providers, MROs, Supply Chain, and Technical Stores etc.
 

To work on a 12 4x4 shift to provide 24 support of the Airbus 330/340fleet. Task will include AOG recovery and coordination of fleet with Operations Control Centre (OCC). Provide a focal point for Arik technical operational (Airbus) queries. MCC will coordinate the line maintenance activities including defect identification and deferred defect action. Planned Maintenance planning will be directed to MCC where the tasks will be promulgated to the Line engineers to ensure Daily Weekly and OOP maintenance is performed on time. MCC will also ensure the CAMMOE will have all required operational data and Technical reports

The MCC Manager assumes overall responsibility for the running of MCC. The MCC Manager will devise processes to ensure all functions of MCC are correctly performed and will ensure they are adhered to. The position will be the focal point for managerial and none operational queries during the working week

Provides and manages maintenance plans and work packs, so that required maintenance is performed when due, and there by assues continued aircraft air worthyness and flight safety.

To forecast, plan, and control the maintenance requirements of the B737 (CL & NG) and Airbus 330/340 on Airframe, Engines, LDGs, APUs, components, etc. in accordance with the Nig.CARs.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Relates with the AVP Engineering and Planning, Planning & Production Control Manager, AVP Maintenance, Maintenance Service Providers, MROs, Supply Chain etc.

Ensures the applicable Maintenance Program is issued and kept current consistent with manufacturer’s recommendations, commensurate with Arik Air / other operator’s experience, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, ensures the production of the relevant Reliability Reports.

To act as technical representative for Arik on Base Maintenance inputs and AOG situations as necessary, to ensure the company Interest are best served. Secondary role will be to train and mentor Arik’s Engineers in the by identifying suitable candidates and developing a program to carry this out.
