Nigeria’s leading domestic airline, Arik Air has had two of its operational aircraft damaged: one by a bird strike, the other by a truck belonging to a service provider.
Starting this week, 30th July 2007, Arik Air’s two New Generation Boeing 737-700 aircraft will begin proving and training flights with Boeing pilots to complete the final line checks with Arik pilots before the commencement of commercial flights on 8th August 2007.
Nigeria’s number one airline, Arik Air is expanding its route network with the addition of Maiduguri and Yola to the list of airports now serviced by the airline.
Arik Air has further confirmed its status as Nigeria’s number one airline with the delivery on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, of yet another brand new Boeing 737-700NG aircraft direct from Seattle, U.S.A.
In just six months from commencement of operations, Arik Air, the new Nigerian airline, has established itself as the leader of the nation’s aviation pack and the airline most ready to serve Nigerians when and where they need to fly.
